Public XML API

The LIV Golf Sports Data Public API is a RESTful API that serves SMT feed XML without modification.

As a public API, authentication is not required to use it., however, to ensure the SMT feeds are not overloaded, this API returns a cached copy of the data that can be up to 30 seconds old.

Environments

Champion Data provides two Sports Data API environments.

Production Environment

This environment serves the genuine sports data from the SDP and should be accessed by corresponding production environment software.

Sandbox Environment

This environment is dedicated for development against the Sports Data API without impacting the Production environment.

Sandbox features a daily replay of select tournaments, serving the data for these tournaments as if they were happening live every day. Champion Data will notify which tournaments are replayed along with their start times.

Note that the Sandbox serves a copy of the same data as the Production environment and access should not be extended to those unauthorized to access Production.
